01Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of the Chantal platform published by VCAM. Creating an account, sending a booking request or publishing content means accepting these terms.
The rules for using the platform, for travellers and partner establishments alike.

These terms govern the use of the Chantal platform published by VCAM. Creating an account, sending a booking request or publishing content means accepting these terms.
Chantal connects travellers and establishments. The service contract (stay, meal, visit, tour, transport…) is concluded directly between the traveller and the establishment, which sets its price, terms and cancellation policy.
Online payments (Mobile Money, bank card) go through the publisher's payment service. Amounts are shown in CFA francs (XAF). The platform does not store any bank card data.
Only a traveller who has received a service can review it. Reviews must be honest and respectful; reviews containing abusive or discriminatory remarks, personal data or content unrelated to the service may be removed. The establishment may reply publicly.
Chantal is an assistant based on artificial intelligence. Its answers rely on the platform's information but may contain mistakes: check important details (prices, opening hours, availability) on the establishment's page. Chantal never books or pays anything without your explicit confirmation.
It is forbidden to use the platform to publish false content or fake reviews, impersonate someone, collect other users' data, send unsolicited messages, bypass security measures or disrupt the service.
If these terms are breached, VCAM may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, after inviting its holder to explain, except in an emergency. You may ask for your account to be closed at any time through the contact form.
VCAM takes care that the platform works properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. It cannot be held liable for the performance of services by establishments, nor for content published by users.
These terms may change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date; account holders are informed of any significant change.
These terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute falls under the competent Cameroonian courts, after an attempt at amicable settlement.
